Meaning:

• St. Christopher (also called St. Christophorus) is a saint and the patron saint of travelers. He is traditionally depicted with a halo, a walking stick, and the Christ Child on his shoulders, crossing a river. Christopher was a giant who carried people across dangerous rivers. So one day a small child. But with every step, the child grew heavier until Christopher nearly collapsed, because the child weighing as much as the world. The child then revealed himself to him as Jesus and blessed him. An image of St. Christopher is therefore often carried when traveling, whether by car, motorcycle, or on foot.
